Structured Assessment
Follow a guided workflow that ensures no critical consideration is overlooked before execution begins.
Migration Planning provides a guided workflow to assess source and target environments, understand networking and infrastructure requirements, identify connected applications, review migration tooling options, and generate actionable guidance before creating a job. By completing a migration plan first, teams gain clarity on what is involved and reduce the risk of unexpected issues during execution.
A Migration Plan walks you through a structured assessment that addresses every dimension of a Kafka migration:
Migration Plans are available from the Dashboard under a dedicated Migration Plans tab. From this tab you can create new plans, open existing plans for review, and manage draft plans.
